Partners of West Lothian Gender Based Violence Partnership support 16 Days of Action against gender based violence.

(Tuesday 25th November)

The West Lothian 16 Days of Action Campaign Starts Today!

10.45 - Rally at the front of Civic Centre with key note speakers

12:30 - Gender Based Violence Take Over Day at Space 101, Almondvale Centre. Everyone is welcome and refreshments and snacks will be on offer.

Look out for West Lothian Women's Aid  Social Media Campaign throughout 16 days that includes:

  • QR Code for Wall of Kindness on social media
  • QR Code for our Digital Pledge Wall on social media
  • 'Survivor Portraits' daily on social media
  • '16 Action Tips for 16 Days' daily on social media
  • 'Daily Kindness' posts aimed at CYP on social media

 

25 November - 10 December 2025 West Lothian College will host a thought-provoking installation using 62 empty chairs to represent the number of women killed by men in the UK in 2024.

10am - 12pm Safe and Together Champions Meeting 

For multi agency practitioners in West Lothian  who have completed the Core Four Training to come together to discuss use of the model in practice.This session will be delivered by certified Safe and Together Trainers from West Lothian Women's Aid and West Lothian Council.
